SOUTH LONDON ORDNANCE
SOUTH LONDON ORDNANCE is, quite rightly, the talk of the town at the moment even though he's yet to unleash his first record. That's all about to change though with releases forthcoming on Audio Culture and 2nd Drop.
In the meantime, you can check his LuckyMe mixtape, the mix on Xfm for Mary Anne Hobbs and, more recently, Seb Chew's show on Rinse FM (see if you can spot a clip of the forthcoming WNCL010 in there!)

THE FAT! CLUB
Rather out of the blue is a little spotlight on the WNCL Recordings label over at The Fat! Club's blog this week.
Very flattering - although I must say, I found it mildly amusing to see the WNCL blog being described as "frustratingly uninformative" (given that this is an exclusively information-based blog)
...and almost fell off my seat laughing to read that I have been "...working at a pretty fast rate for a label that doesn’t even have a facebook page".
Really - without Facebook in my life, I'm not quite sure how I manage to get out of bed in the mornings let alone put out records. It's a real struggle, as you can imagine.
Still mustn't grumble, it's a nice piece. Read it here...
